
A complete GUI redesign for the SkyGarden farming game on HYTOPIA — replacing default UI with custom-crafted interfaces for crafting, shops, and inventory systems.
SkyGarden is a voxel-based farming and crafting game built on the HYTOPIA platform. I was brought on to completely overhaul the game's user interface — replacing the default system UI with custom-designed panels that match the game's cozy, nature-inspired aesthetic.
The original UI used HYTOPIA's default components. The redesign introduced hand-crafted panels with custom iconography, richer color palettes, and a layout designed for both desktop and mobile players.

Every panel was designed from scratch in Photoshop, using Midjourney to explore visual directions for background textures and decorative elements. The final designs feature:
The UI assets were exported as layered PNGs and integrated into HYTOPIA's rendering engine. I worked closely with the development team to ensure pixel-perfect implementation, consistent hover states, and smooth transitions between panels.
